My website was recently hacked with the Eval Base 64 malicious code. I went to the Oscommerce forums to find out how to remove it. Nic was very helpful answering all my questions, but I realized this was too big of a job for me. Sure I could spend many hours removing the malicious code from each php file, but how would I know which malicious files were also installed. I know hackers hide code in files that look very similar to ones that belong, and that unless you really know what you doing you will never find them. I could tell from reading Nic?s posts he has a lot of experience with this, so I contacted him.
So I purchased the Eval Decode And Correction package, and Nic fixed everything in less than 3 hours. I didn?t lose any graphics, pictures, or any information. Nic found 35 files that were placed that didn?t belong there, cleaned all my files and server, then changed a number of things to prevent this from happening again.
